![]() THE NONPROFIT TOOLBOX In 2010, the Arts Toolbox will become part of a new, larger program at The Community Foundation. The Nonprofit Toolbox closely resembles the former Arts Toolbox program with a similar process and application, but it will be open to all eligible nonprofits and not just arts organizations. Please note that although the name of the program has changed, the same amount of funds will be specifically designated for small and midsized arts organizations within the Nonprofit Toolbox. The eligibility requirements for arts organizations applying for a Nonprofit Toolbox are the same as for the Arts Fund grants. Applications for the Nonprofit Toolbox received by January 15 will be reviewed in the first round of 2010. About the Nonprofit Toolbox: The Community Foundation's commitment to strengthening and supporting our region's nonprofit sector includes more than giving financial grants. Nonprofits can now apply for the Nonprofit Toolbox , a program that helps strengthen organizations’ management, governance and operations. Nonprofit Toolbox awards are not financial grants; they are custom-designed packages of management consulting to help solve a key organizational challenge or problem. Organizations selected to receive a Nonprofit Toolbox will work with a specialist who will construct a package of appropriate organizational assistance. >> Read the full description and download the Nonprofit Toolbox guidelines and application form.
